What You'll Do8
- 1Build deep knowledge of client businesses and industries through direct interaction while managing multiple engagement aspects.
- 2Design and execute IT control assessments in areas like ITGC, cybersecurity, and third-party risk, identifying gaps against frameworks such as SOC and COBIT.
- 3Drive process improvements by analyzing client operations, recommending changes that address key risks, and presenting findings to executives.
- 4Lead the development of audit programs and internal audits, covering IT strategy, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- 5Own the drafting of executive summaries and final reports, ensuring work papers meet internal audit methodologies.
- 6Facilitate client meetings and presentations, translating technical risks into strategic recommendations.
- 7Mentor junior team members through Baker Tilly's Care and Teach philosophy, fostering their professional growth.
- 8Continuously sharpen skills via training and cross-training, staying current with emerging technologies and regulations.
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, accounting information systems, or related field.
- 2CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, or CPA certifications preferred.
- 33+ years experience in IT audit or cybersecurity, with client-facing consulting experience desired.
- 4Hands-on experience with SOC engagements and cloud audit environments preferred.
- 5Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- 6Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time management abilities.
