Irrigation Technician, Landscape Maintenance & Water Management
Overview
Irrigation Technician who installs, maintains, and repairs water delivery systems for commercial landscapes at scale. You will partner with a landscape team to deliver efficient irrigation plans and water conservation solutions. You’ll work directly with clients to assess site needs and ensure reliable system performance. This role offers hands-on opportunities, growth paths, and a team-focused environment.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and service irrigation systems including drip, sprinkler, micro-irrigation, and soaker hose setups to optimize performance
- 2Inspect systems for leaks, heads, electrical issues, backflow, and water pressure problems and perform timely repairs
- 3Troubleshoot valves, timers, smart controllers, sensors, and other components to minimize downtime
- 4Collaborate with landscape crews to integrate irrigation plans into overall garden and lawn care routines
- 5Advise clients on watering schedules, seasonal adjustments, and water conservation best practices
Requirements6
- 1Hands-on experience with drip, standard overhead, and smart controller irrigation systems
- 2Strong ability to diagnose and fix mechanical and low-voltage electrical components
- 3Ability to dig trenches, lift heavy equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather while following safety standards
- 4Solid understanding of lawn care, soil types, and plant watering requirements
- 5Ability to work independently and in a crew environment
- 6Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
