Overview
You will execute Investor Relations strategies for Brookfield's Renewable Power & Transition group, supporting a portfolio of over 35,000 megawatts and a 200,000-megawatt pipeline. You own investor communications, capital raising, and content creation across private funds. You work directly with institutional and retail shareholders, senior management, and global teams. This role stands out for its exposure to emerging technologies and the flagship Brookfield platform.
What You'll Do10
- 1Communicate with investors and internal stakeholders to answer RFIs, RFPs, DDQs, and ad-hoc requests using internal and external resources.
- 2Monitor renewables and transition market activity, tracking industry trends and competitive intelligence.
- 3Coordinate and manage the preparation and dissemination of IR materials, internal communications for major transactions, and capital raising initiatives.
- 4Coordinate and prepare for quarterly conference calls and webcasts with private fund investors.
- 5Organize road shows, conferences, investor meetings, and asset tours.
- 6Create bespoke materials like deep dive presentations on emerging technologies, portfolio company updates, and Brookfield capabilities.
- 7Work with peers across Brookfield platforms to identify best practices for quality and consistency of IR materials.
- 8Assist with strategic initiatives across other IR functions within the Renewable Power & Transition group.
- 9Plan and coordinate special projects and events, including the Annual Brookfield Global Investor Conference.
- 10Support various investor relations initiatives as required.
Requirements10
- 13-4 years of relevant work experience with an undergraduate degree in finance, business, or economics.
- 2Solid understanding and interest in financial markets and the renewable energy sector.
- 3Working towards or completion of a professional designation (CPA/CA, CFA).
- 4Strong understanding of private equity investment structures, financial topics, and institutional investors.
- 5Ability to communicate financial topics into concise and clear messaging.
- 6Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, particularly with diverse stakeholders.
- 7Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated initiative.
- 8Advanced quantitative and analytical abilities.
- 9Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
- 10Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information, plus teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
