Overview
The Inventory Control Manager oversees inventory tracking systems evaluates and improves inventory control procedures analyzes supply levels and optimizes employee schedules while developing supplier relationships proposing cost reduction strategies and ensuring budget adherence.

- 1Oversee team of inventory or warehouse employees
- 2Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries shipments and stock levels
- 3Evaluate deliveries shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
- 4Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
- 5Manage schedules of employees deliveries and shipments to optimize operations
- 6Communicate with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues
- 7Develop business relationships with suppliers and clients
- 8Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics
- 9Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs
- 10Report on inventory levels supply chain progress procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management
- 11Ensure adherence to approved budget
Requirements5
- 1Minimum of five years of experience managing inventory
- 2Trucking Logistics experience is a plus
- 3Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies
- 4Experience conducting tracking and data analysis
- 5Product and inventory management certification is a plus
