What You'll Do14
- 1Manage and maintain the inventory management system to ensure accurate records
- 2Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency
- 3Maintain warehouse locations bin assignments and inventory placarding
- 4Order and monitor stock levels of shop supplies PPE and cleanroom materials
- 5Ensure PPE stations remain fully stocked for safety compliance
- 6Conduct daily inventory receipts transfers and shipments tracking
- 7Perform regular physical inventories cycle counts and audits
- 8Prepare inventory reports analyze trends and present findings to management
- 9Monitor obsolete inventory and recommend waste reduction strategies
- 10Collaborate with Production Purchasing Engineering and Quality teams
- 11Establish backup suppliers and maintain effective working relationships
- 12Review jobs with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies
- 13Set and review minimum maximum inventory levels based on usage and forecasts
- 14Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in warehouse processes
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
- 2Ability to lift 50 pounds
- 3Computer experience required
- 4Current or previous forklift certification preferred
- 5Quality inspection of incoming stock
- 6Familiarity with FIFO rules and best practices
- 7Inventory counting proficiency
- 8Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers purchasing department and vendors
- 9Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
- 10Proficient keyboarding skills
- 11Highly organized with minimal supervision needs
