Instructional Associate, B2B SaaS & Demand Generation
Overview
The instructional associate will own instruction support tasks at a part‑time end‑of‑year position in Charlotte‑Mecklenburg Schools. This role creates a classroom environment that helps students meet academic goals while enforcing Board of Education policies. The employee reports to the principal and works hourly on a full‑time basis.
What You'll Do14
- 1Adhere to all state federal and local laws policies and procedures
- 2Assist children individually or in small groups to master assignments and reinforce learning concepts
- 3Collaborate with EIT(s) to design tailored strategies leveraging technology for unique student needs
- 4Supervise students across classrooms hallways cafeterias yards and field trips
- 5Enforce administration policies and manage attendance records
- 6Discuss duties with teachers to coordinate instructional efforts
- 7Instruct and monitor students in equipment use to prevent injury
- 8Observe student performance and record data to assess progress
- 9Present subject matter using whole group small group and individual methods
- 10Assist with material preparation lesson materials bulletin boards equipment and demonstrations
- 11Participate in transportation duties for student arrivals and departures
- 12Prepare lesson materials exhibits equipment and demonstrations
- 13Join professional development and meetings
- 14Perform related work as assigned
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Associates degree or two years of higher education equivalent to 48 credit hours
- 3Pass a formal assessment WorkKeys and 96 hours of in‑service training
- 4Completion of the NC Department of Labor Teacher Assistant Apprenticeship Program
- 5Minimum of three years experience working with children
- 6Valid driver’s license or ability to provide own transportation
- 7Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings
