Overview
As the Information Technology Specialist at the Arizona Humane Society, you will own end-user support and system maintenance across our Papago Park Campus, directly powering the technology that enables lifesaving animal care. You'll troubleshoot Windows workstations, Active Directory, and network issues, while managing service requests and IT projects. What You'll Do7
- 1Resolve technical issues for workstations, laptops, thin clients, printers, and peripherals via in-person, remote, phone, and email support, using ServiceNow ticketing.
- 2Install and configure Windows 10/11 OS, Microsoft Office 365, and line-of-business applications, ensuring smooth onboarding for new staff.
- 3Diagnose and repair network connectivity problems, including TCP/IP and DNS, to minimize downtime across campus.
- 4Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in the knowledge base, helping the team resolve common issues faster.
- 5Support the phone system (e.g., Cisco or Avaya) by troubleshooting and configuring handsets and voicemail.
- 6Assist with IT projects like hardware refreshes, Active Directory user administration, and Intune deployments.
- 7Train staff on new software and best practices for data security, including multi-factor authentication.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma and relevant IT certifications such as MCITP or MCSE.
- 2Associate's degree in IT related field, or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 31+ years supporting business users in a hybrid Microsoft environment.
- 4Network troubleshooting experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- 5Strong customer service skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- 6Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
- 7Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in environments with animal dander and noise.
