Collaborates with engineering, production, quality, and operations to reduce waste and improve efficiency using Lean Manufacturing principles. Supports documentation and standardization to ensure consistency and compliance. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build process maps and SOPs to standardize operations and support training.
  • 2Collect and analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • 3Conduct time studies and work measurements to optimize labor utilization.
  • 4Assist Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma 5S initiatives on the production floor.
  • 5Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • 6Create workstation layouts and visual work instructions to support optimized operations.
  • 7Monitor KPIs and prepare reports to drive data driven decisions.
  • 8Support implementation of new equipment tooling methods and workflow changes.
  • 9Collaborate with production maintenance quality supply chain and engineering to resolve issues and remove barriers to performance.
  • 10Maintain accurate engineering records and technical documentation for traceability and compliance.

Requirements10

  • 1Associate degree or technical diploma in Industrial Engineering Technology Manufacturing Technology Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent manufacturing experience
  • 2Experience in a manufacturing production or industrial environment
  • 3Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint for data analysis documentation and reporting
  • 4Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma 5S and continuous improvement methodologies
  • 5Strong analytical mathematical and problem solving abilities for evaluating processes and proposing improvements
  • 6Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating activities and presenting findings
  • 7Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
  • 8Experience creating manufacturing documentation and work instructions
  • 9Experience performing time studies and labor analysis to support process optimization
  • 10Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement events
