Bureau Veritas seeks an Industrial Maintenance & Operations Assessor with Qualified Electrical Worker experience to lead onsite assessments across U.S. client sites. This hands‑on field role evaluates equipment condition performance and safety while translating observations into actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate excels in NFPA 70E compliance and has proven expertise in electrical data collection and arc flash analysis.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform onsite assessments and technical audits of industrial equipment MHE electrical mechanical controls and facility systems
- 2Conduct electrical data collection and arc flash information gathering
- 3Evaluate electrical equipment up to 480V applying NFPA 70E and QEW requirements
- 4Assess material handling and conveyance systems against drawings and industry standards
- 5Review CMMS records maintenance history and preventive maintenance programs
- 6Interpret electrical mechanical and architectural documentation
- 7Interview facility personnel contractors and clients to validate findings
- 8Document field observations using photographs electronic data tools and detailed technical reports
- 9Communicate findings risks and corrective actions to clients and project teams
Requirements11
- 1Qualified Electrical Worker experience with NFPA 70E and OSHA electrical safety knowledge
- 2Experience working around energized equipment and following LOTO procedures
- 35+ years in industrial maintenance electrical mechanical controls or related fields
- 4High school diploma GED required technical vocational or associate degree preferred
- 5Strong ability to maintain troubleshoot and evaluate material handling equipment
- 6CMMS experience for asset management preferred
- 7Journeyman electrical or mechanical credentials preferred
- 8OSHA 10/30 or industry certifications such as CxA BCxP CEM NICET are a plus
- 9Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- 10Technical writing analytical communication and problem solving skills
- 11Independence in industrial environments and professional interaction with clients
