Overview
You will own the daily care and well-being of a senior client in Norridge, IL, becoming a trusted part of their life like a family member. You will provide personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping, with a flexible schedule you build yourself. What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- 2Perform light housework and laundry to maintain a clean, safe living space.
- 3Provide companionship through conversation, activities, and emotional support.
- 4Assist with bathing and showering, respecting the client's dignity and privacy.
- 5Transfer the client safely from bed to chair or wheelchair using proper techniques.
- 6Transport the client to appointments or errands using your personal vehicle.
- 7Document care activities and report any changes in the client's condition to the office.
- 8Build a trusted relationship with the client and their family, adapting to their routines.
Requirements8
- 118+ years of age.
- 2Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- 3Ability to pass a background check.
- 4High school diploma or equivalent, or a caregiver letter of reference.
- 5Legal authorization to work in Illinois, USA.
- 6Ability to lift 30 lbs (preferred).
- 71 year of caregiving experience (preferred).
- 8Willingness to commute to Norridge, IL 60706.
