Identity Security Analyst Consultant | Okta & Zscaler
Overview
Own the technical administration and operational support for Okta, Zscaler, Infoblox, and enterprise backup platforms. You will join a security operations team in a contract role, handling integrations, reporting, and documentation for 6+ months onsite in Los Angeles. This role stands apart by giving you direct control over identity, access, and network security tools in a production environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Administer Okta identity and access management services, including user lifecycle, SSO, and MFA configurations.
- 2Operate Zscaler internet and private access services, monitoring traffic and resolving policy exceptions.
- 3Manage Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services, ensuring resolution and address allocation reliability.
- 4Support enterprise backup and recovery platforms, scheduling backups and verifying restores.
- 5Integrate Okta, Zscaler, and Infoblox with existing identity and security workflows.
- 6Generate and maintain operational reports on access, network, and backup health.
- 7Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for all managed tools.
- 8Troubleshoot and resolve identity and network access incidents within defined SLAs.
- 9Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security policy enforcement and audits.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in identity and access management administration, specifically with Okta.
- 2Hands-on experience with Zscaler (ZIA and ZPA) in a production environment.
- 33+ years managing Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
- 4Proficiency in enterprise backup tools such as Veeam or CommVault.
- 5Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python for automation and reporting.
- 6Understanding of security frameworks and protocols (SAML, OAuth, LDAP).
- 7Experience with incident response and troubleshooting in a 24/7 environment.
- 8Excellent documentation and communication skills.
