What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with ice setup and takedown for events
- 2Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating machinery near athletes and spectators
- 3Perform daily weekly monthly and annual maintenance of ice resurfacer and edger
- 4Monitor ice quality throughout events and adjust as needed
- 5Collaborate with ice operations team to optimize time and resource use
- 6Maintain clean and hazard-free rink area
- 7Execute general maintenance tasks such as sweeping and cleaning
- 8Respond to incidents accidents injuries and altercations filing required paperwork
- 9Assist other departments as directed by management
- 10Complete special projects daily assignments and other duties
- 11Follow safe operating techniques for blade changes driving resurfacing handling and machine inspection
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Basic knowledge of ice maintenance and resurfacing procedures
- 3Valid driver's license
- 4Certified Ice Technician preferred
- 5Ability to work irregular shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- 6Physical stamina to sit for extended periods operate machinery and lift 50 pounds
- 7Capacity to work in cold environments for long durations
