Overview
As an HVAC Technician at Indoor Environmental Services, you'll own the full lifecycle of HVAC systems for residential and commercial clients in Sacramento, from installation to end-of-life. You'll diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and deliver emergency repairs, ensuring customer comfort and safety. Working alongside a team of Journeyman, Apprentice, and Tradesman, you'll handle diverse challenges. What You'll Do8
- 1Install HVAC systems, including ductwork and controls, for new and existing buildings.
- 2Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- 3Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration units to prevent failures.
- 4Respond to emergency repair calls and restore system function within the first 90 days.
- 5Balance air and water treatment systems to HVAC protocols, ensuring optimized performance.
- 6Provide on-the-job training to apprentices and guide customers on system selection.
- 7Maintain daily logs of all service and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- 8Assist with customer queries and provide technical advice on HVAC systems.
Requirements7
- 1Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 21+ year of experience repairing and maintaining HVAC systems, with Journeyman or Apprentice level accepted.
- 3Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- 4Working knowledge of boiler systems and ability to read schematics.
- 5Proficiency in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- 6Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand or kneel for long periods, and climb ladders.
- 7Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and holidays with short notice.
