Overview
Lead installation and repair of HVAC/R systems for Raytheon. Work from wiring diagrams and verbal directions. Perform daily inspections and repairs. Maintain climate control and manufacturing processes. Requires security clearance and Massachusetts Refrigeration license.
What You'll Do11
- 1Works from wiring diagrams and schematic drawings to install and modify HVAC piping
- 2Calculates head load and provides data for system modifications
- 3Maintains and repairs DDC and pneumatic controls
- 4Installs and modifies HVAC related equipment such as chillers and pumps
- 5Troubleshoots burners and HVAC/R equipment malfunctions
- 6Cleans combustion chambers and flues annually
- 7Performs daily inspections and initiates follow-up actions
- 8Retrieves material and stock for assigned work
- 9Maintains clean work area and follows safety rules
- 10Operates tools like pipe cutters and thermal imaging devices
- 11Uses multimeters and pressure gauges for diagnostics
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician's license
- 3Active DoD Confidential Security Clearance
- 4U.S. Citizenship required
- 5Reliable transportation for alternate assignments
- 6Good computer skills
- 7Ability to read and interpret safety procedures
- 8Trade school experience preferred
- 9Availability for travel and relocation
- 10Valid EPA Universal Certification #608
