Overview
Lead a team of housekeepers to deliver exceptional guest experiences by overseeing daily room cleaning operations. This role focuses on coordinating cleaning activities ensuring compliance with company standards and maintaining high guest satisfaction levels.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and direct housekeeping staff to meet daily cleaning goals
- 2Design and prioritize room cleaning schedules for VIP and standard rooms
- 3Conduct end-of-day inspections using worksheets and notify front desk of any issues
- 4Manage maintenance requests for furniture and equipment
- 5Coordinate with other departments to align housekeeping efforts with guest needs
- 6Prepare and submit daily room status reports to housekeeping leadership
- 7Perform quarterly inventory of linens and coordinate restocking
- 8Ensure all guest rooms are properly stocked and maintained according to brand standards
- 9Maintain clean and organized linen storage areas
- 10Assist in training new associates and provide ongoing coaching
- 11Implement processes to improve operational efficiency and guest feedback response times
Requirements11
- 1High School diploma or equivalent education level
- 2Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality housekeeping management
- 3Proven track record with major hotel chains including Marriott Hilton IHG Wyndham Hyatt
- 4Ability to lift 15 pounds regularly and handle 250 pound carts on occasion
- 5Excellent physical stamina for standing walking and lifting throughout the day
- 6Strong communication skills with written and verbal proficiency
- 7Basic math skills for accurate reporting and financial documentation
- 8Experience with hotel property management systems and housekeeping software
- 9Passion for customer service and dedication to maintaining luxury standards
- 10Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- 11Commitment to teamwork and collaborative problem solving
Salary Insight
