What You'll Do11
- 1Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and personal hygiene
- 2Support mobility and transfers using Hoyer lifts and proper techniques
- 3Monitor vital signs and document changes accurately
- 4Administer medications following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations
- 5Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding
- 6Provide companionship and emotional support for clients with dementia Alzheimer`s or neurodevelopmental disorders
- 7Maintain clean safe home environments through cleaning and organization
- 8Perform wound care first aid CPR and medication administration when required
- 9Assist with outings or appointments by offering personal transportation
- 10Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans for hospice memory care
- 11Support clients during transitions by ensuring safe and comfortable movement
Requirements7
- 15+ years experience in group homes assisted living facilities nursing homes or home health settings
- 2Proven ability to perform patient observation monitor vital signs and administer medications
- 3Familiarity with dementia care Alzheimer`s care hospice care and geriatrics
- 4Knowledge of manual handling techniques heavy lifting and patient transfers
- 5Certification in CPR and first aid with additional home health certifications preferred
- 6Experience with autism developmental disabilities intellectual disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders
- 7Strong communication skills maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
