Overview
As a Home Care Aide with SYNERGY HomeCare, you'll own the daily care and safety of clients across Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Concord, Clayton, and Pinole, providing companionship and support for activities of daily living. What You'll Do7
- 1Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients in their homes.
- 2Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene as part of daily living support.
- 3Prepare meals and manage grocery shopping based on client needs and preferences.
- 4Give medication reminders and monitor client well-being during each shift.
- 5Document care activities and report to the office, noting any changes in client condition promptly.
- 6Follow infection control, HIPAA, and dress code policies to ensure safety and compliance.
- 7Clock in and out accurately using the mobile app or assigned timekeeping method.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- 3Proof of current 2-step TB testing or ability to obtain.
- 4Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
- 5Registered Home Care Aide with the state of California or willing to register.
- 6Must be bondable and pass a national criminal background check.
- 7Satisfactory professional and personal reference check.
- 8Ability to complete SYNERGY HomeCare orientation and online training modules.
- 9Physically able to perform light to moderate exertion, including standing, walking, kneeling, and assisting with client repositioning.
