Healthcare Technician CNA Raleigh
Overview
Own patient examinations and vital sign collection while supporting admission discharge and transfers. Interpret visitation rules and maintain accurate medical records. Contribute to treatment goals and provide basic client education. Provide compassionate care under LPN supervision.
What You'll Do7
- 1Assist in physical examinations and record vital signs including temperature pulse respiration and blood pressure
- 2Examine client eyes ears teeth and bodies to assess hygiene practices
- 3Support client admission discharge and interdepartmental transfers
- 4Interpret visitation rules and regulations for staff residents and family members
- 5Maintain accurate medical records within LPN scope of practice
- 6Participate in treatment goal planning and involve clients in goal development
- 7Teach client education classes on physical health care grooming and hygiene
Requirements5
- 1Licensed as Certified Nursing Assistant
- 2American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification preferred
- 3Minimum one year psychiatry experience
- 4Onsite work location in Raleigh North Carolina
- 5Contract employment with flexible shift options
