We seek a passionate Head Start Teacher to lead our Phoenix program delivering bilingual curriculum. You will guide children toward school readiness while supporting families through flexible engagement opportunities.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and deliver bilingual curriculum using Spark and Airflow
- 2Implement IEP adaptations for children with special needs
- 3Conduct developmental screenings and document progress within 45 days
- 4Lead parent conferences and educational home visits twice yearly
- 5Maintain CACFP compliance and complete daily food service documentation
- 6Coordinate with community agencies to connect families with resources
- 7Facilitate Strong Fathers curriculum for father involvement
- 8Perform CPR and first aid training within ninety days of hire
- 9Prepare lesson plans featuring monthly home tasks and food experiences
- 10Manage classroom supplies and inventory monthly
- 11Participate in staff development and program evaluations
Requirements11
- 15+ years teaching experience with bilingual populations
- 2Proficiency in Python and React frameworks
- 3AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential
- 4Valid Arizona teaching certificate with Child Development focus
- 5Ability to lift 40 pounds and assist children with mobility needs
- 6Strong English grammar skills for ESL learners
- 7Familiarity with Head Start standards and IDEA requirements
- 8Experience with CPR and First Aid certification
- 9Knowledge of Maricopa County environmental regulations
- 10Demonstrated teamwork and communication abilities
- 11Commitment to cultural competency in diverse communities
