H-60M Maintenance Test Pilot, Fixed-Wing Multi-Engine
Overview
Own H-60M maintenance test flights and fixed-wing project flights for Army RDT&E missions. You'll pilot H-60M helicopters and FW multi-engine aircraft, conducting developmental and operational evaluations. Work alongside engineers and test personnel to shape aviation systems. This role demands 1,500+ total flight hours, 250+ PIC hours, and 100+ hours in the last 12 months. You'll manage mission planning, execute test flights, and document results. What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct H-60M maintenance test flights and project flights on H-60 L/M aircraft
- 2Serve as FW multi-engine project pilot for RDT&E missions
- 3Execute developmental, operational, and project evaluation flight missions
- 4Plan missions including weather analysis, flight routing, and airspace coordination
- 5Coordinate with engineers and test personnel for aviation test planning and execution
- 6Prepare flight reports, evaluations, and technical documentation
- 7Take on additional duties as assigned by Lead Pilot (Operations, Safety, GFR)
- 8Maintain flight currency and medical certification
Requirements10
- 1FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or higher with multi-engine, instrument, and helicopter ratings
- 2H-60M Maintenance Test Pilot qualified
- 3U.S. Department of War FW multi-engine qualified
- 41,500 hours total flight time (RW) with 250 hours PIC
- 575 hours night flight/NVG and 75 hours instrument flight (minimum 10 hours actual IMC)
- 6100 hours recent flight experience within last 12 months
- 7FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate
- 8Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- 9Complete physiological training (Hypobaric Chamber)
- 10Willingness to travel 30% TDY, rotate shifts, and work unscheduled overtime
