Grocery Stocker, Retail & Merchandising
Overview
You will own the grocery sales floor at a busy Dallas store, keeping shelves stocked, displays neat, and back stock organized. You'll work closely with the team to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. This role offers hands-on experience with forklifts and balers, and requires bilingual English & Spanish skills. You'll be the go-to person for locating merchandise and suggesting products, making every shift a chance to directly impact customer experience.
What You'll Do9
- 1Stock grocery items onto shelves and ensure neat organization in assigned locations.
- 2Use a cutting blade or knife safely to open boxes and prepare products.
- 3Organize, upkeep, rotate, and maintain back stock in good order for easy access.
- 4Oversee product quality on the sales floor, removing damaged or expired items.
- 5Build neat and organized merchandise displays that attract customers.
- 6Provide undivided attention and customer service to patrons, answering questions and locating items.
- 7Suggest company products and services to customers based on their needs.
- 8Operate equipment such as balers and forklifts as needed for stocking and cleanup.
- 9Perform other duties common to the grocery department as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements8
- 11+ year of grocery or stocking experience preferred.
- 2High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 3Must be 18 years or older.
- 4Bilingual in English & Spanish.
- 5Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- 6Comfortable using cutting tools and operating machinery.
- 7Basic math skills for inventory and ordering.
- 8Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
