Government Contract Officer UCSF
Overview
The Contracts Officer prepares drafts reviews negotiations outgoing incoming agreements develops compiles submits proposals for research public service and other contracts. Works independently assesses complex grant contract subcontract transactions ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor policies. May review and sign transactions for less experienced staff serves as technical specialist as needed coordinates with faculty and campus offices including Legal Affairs Risk Management Privacy and Department managers. Responsible for interpreting internal guidance negotiating stakeholder requirements completing assignments professionally.

Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and CFR
- 3Proven ability to analyze complex contract terms
- 4Experience managing multi-stakeholder negotiations
- 5Strong analytical skills for evaluating variable factors in grants
- 6Demonstrated leadership in contract administration
- 7Ability to interpret policies for others
- 8Expertise in financial analysis and customized reporting
- 9Knowledge of sponsorship compliance regulations
- 10Experience with cooperative agreements and subcontracts
