Google Cloud Platform IAM Engineer (Associate)
Overview
Own the implementation and operation of GCP identity and access controls, onboarding applications securely and repeatably in a regulated environment. What You'll Do6
- 1Provision and manage IAM roles, bindings, and service accounts across GCP projects using Terraform and Git-based workflows.
- 2Implement least-privilege patterns for application onboarding, covering runtime identity, human access, and break-glass procedures.
- 3Support identity integrations with Active Directory and SSO providers to ensure seamless access control.
- 4Design and deploy IAM policies in a scalable way, using Terraform modules and reusable configurations.
- 5Collaborate with application teams to define and enforce IAM best practices and guardrails.
- 6Automate IAM compliance checks and monitoring using Cloud Asset Inventory and Cloud Logging.
Requirements7
- 11-2 years experience with GCP IAM management in production environments.
- 2Hands-on Terraform experience for infrastructure as code, including IAM resource management.
- 3Understanding of least-privilege principles and identity lifecycle management.
- 4Familiarity with Active Directory and SSO integration models.
- 5Experience with GCP services like Cloud Asset Inventory and Cloud Logging.
- 6Ability to write clear, maintainable Terraform code and documentation.
- 7Google Cloud Associate level certification or equivalent knowledge.
