Generator Sales Representative
Overview
Generate new business and drive sales for residential and light commercial generators. Conduct site assessments and deliver proposals. Expand brand across the region. Lead builds and maintain CRM records. Meet sales targets.
What You'll Do11
- 1Prospect, qualify, and close new residential and light commercial generator sales
- 2Educate homeowners on financial and environmental benefits of Generac systems
- 3Conduct site evaluations and gather technical data for proposals
- 4Prepare and present tailored proposals to potential customers
- 5Collaborate with engineering and permitting teams for smooth handoff
- 6Maintain CRM records and track leads for management reporting
- 7Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- 8Develop builder network for new home sales
- 9Attend home shows and trade events
- 10Self-motivated and independent sales professional
- 11Proficient with CRM platforms and sales proposal tools
Requirements9
- 13+ years field sales experience in home services or renewable energy
- 2Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- 3Comfortable conducting in-home consultations
- 4Valid driver's license and ability to travel
- 5Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 6NEC certification preferred
- 7Familiarity with sales platforms
- 8Experience with electrical systems and power generation
- 9Knowledge of sales software
