General Manager Restaurant Operations
Overview
You will own full restaurant operations at Hawaiian Bros, driving sales and profit while delivering exceptional guest satisfaction. You lead a team of managers and crew, ensuring QSC standards and financial health. You work directly with the Territory Director to align on strategy and resolve issues. This role sets you apart with direct accountability for local marketing and community engagement.
What You'll Do9
- 1Translate the company's vision into individual and team goals that align with business objectives and restaurant performance measures.
- 2Recruit, hire, and develop Shift Managers and Assistant General Managers, maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- 3Manage employee performance using the People First System, setting career goals and providing regular feedback.
- 4Resolve employee concerns in line with policies, escalating recurring issues to the Territory Director.
- 5Resolve guest issues promptly, identifying recurring patterns and escalating major concerns to the Territory Director.
- 6Oversee employee schedules balancing work-life needs with business demands, and maintain food inventory through correct ordering and usage.
- 7Execute local marketing programs and ensure full compliance with QSC, safety, and sanitation standards.
- 8Manage financial performance: analyze P&L, control payroll and food costs, and implement SMART plans to improve profitability.
- 9Lead the team through operational changes, championing new initiatives and ensuring coordination and execution.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in restaurant or retail management with full P&L responsibility.
- 2Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- 3Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- 4Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for fostering a positive work culture.
- 5Ability to analyze data and make decisions to optimize sales and profitability.
- 6Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations in a restaurant setting.
- 7Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 8High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
