What You'll Do10
- 1Drive daily operations to exceed performance metrics, owning the full customer journey from entry to checkout.
- 2Design and execute merchandising plans that keep the store organized and inviting, using POS data to adjust layouts.
- 3Build staff schedules that match traffic patterns, training managers to forecast coverage needs.
- 4Optimize supply chain logistics to cut stockouts, coordinating with vendors and internal buyers.
- 5Enforce strict compliance with state and local cannabis regulations, maintaining audit-ready records.
- 6Lead internal and external audits, implementing corrective actions within 30 days of findings.
- 7Stay current on cannabis law changes, updating SOPs and training staff within one week of enactment.
- 8Mentor and develop team members, conducting performance reviews and creating growth plans for key talent.
- 9Launch product knowledge training programs, using Microsoft Office to track completion.
- 10Manage the dispensary budget, analyzing revenue and expense trends to hit margin targets.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- 25+ years in retail management, with proven track record in people leadership.
- 3Experience in cannabis retail or highly regulated industry preferred.
- 421+ years old to meet state requirement.
- 5Strong customer service background, including supervising retail associates and handling invoices and cash.
- 6Professional, punctual, trustworthy with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- 7Proficiency with HR systems, POS, and Microsoft Office suite.
- 8Ability to lift 25 lbs or more multiple times per day.
- 9Flexible schedule covering nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- 10Ability to obtain and maintain an active MED badge in Colorado.
