Furniture Delivery Driver Installation Specialist in Charlotte NC
Overview
Own and execute end-to-end furniture delivery, setup, and pickup for rental deployments across North and South Carolina. You will drive, unload, install, and prepare furniture and housewares, while maintaining safe warehouse and vehicle operations. Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate placement and customer satisfaction. This role combines hands-on delivery with light warehouse tasks and requires strong safety and communication skills.
What You'll Do10
- 1Drive and perform daily truck inspections and complete pre-trip reports
- 2Unload and install rental furniture and housewares in customer residences to achieve accurate placement
- 3Pickup items from residences and load into the truck with careful handling to prevent damage
- 4Introduce the team to customers and review delivery/placement details in home
- 5Use proper lifting techniques and safe handling to prevent damage to furniture or residence
- 6Document deliveries and pickups, noting items requiring follow-up or further attention
- 7Communicate challenges and customer requests to home office during delivery or pickup
- 8Install and pickup housewares including kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom items
- 9Unload trucks after pickups and preload for next-day deliveries
- 10Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work environment
Requirements9
- 1At least 1-year driving and delivery experience
- 2Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
- 3Clear MVR and Class C or CDL license with a minimum of 2 years experience
- 4Ability to lift and carry over 100 lbs with a partner
- 5Basic use of hand tools and power tools
- 6Ability to work overtime when required
- 7Monday–Friday schedule; weekends not required
- 8Competitive pay with base pay and bonus; includes benefits and PTO
- 9Background check and drug test required
