Overview
You will uncover insights about companies, industries, and the broader economy through deep fundamental research on the Canvas team at Point72. This 6-month intensive fellowship offers hands-on experience in research and business analysis within a compliance-focused environment. You will partner with Investment Professionals and the Compliance team to synthesize information for portfolio managers. The role stands out for its direct engagement with private company executives and the potential for permanent placement.
What You'll Do6
- 1Become a subject matter expert on an assigned industry by conducting deep fundamental research.
- 2Engage with private company executives to gather qualitative data on structural shifts, supply/demand dynamics, and emerging technologies.
- 3Synthesize findings into comprehensive reports that present a clear view of the industry.
- 4Gain exposure to business leaders and learn the discretionary investment process.
- 5Partner with dedicated Compliance professionals to ensure research meets regulatory standards.
- 6Interact directly with investment professionals to drive more informed investment decisions.

- 1Undergraduate degree conferred in 2025 or 2026.
- 2Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
