Overview
You will build full-stack system features for a mission-critical intelligence program, owning backend API development with Django, Flask, or FastAPI. What You'll Do7
- 1Build full-stack system features based on customer requirements, focusing on backend API development with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- 2Implement new features and system updates to respond to evolving mission needs, shipping code within the first 90 days.
- 3Support the automation development team through code reviews and software engineering expertise.
- 4Modernize and harden mission management systems, including migration to Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- 5Perform system updates and upgrades to improve reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- 6Develop and implement security enhancements to strengthen mission systems and applications.
- 7Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to translate mission needs into effective technical solutions.
Requirements8
- 1Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph required.
- 28+ years of experience in software development.
- 3Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or additional 4+ years experience substituting).
- 4Experience building production-grade applications and APIs using Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
- 5Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm chart development and CI/CD integration.
- 6Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB.
- 7Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
- 8Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
