Overview
You will own the frontend architecture for a mission-critical government platform in Denver, CO, serving the intelligence community. Working on a fully onsite team, you will build responsive, Section 508-compliant interfaces with React, Angular, and modern JavaScript standards. You will collaborate with backend engineers to consume RESTful APIs and deploy in an agile, lean environment. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain user-facing interfaces with React and Angular, ensuring responsive design and compliance with Section 508.
- 2Design reusable components and modular JavaScript using strict mode and modern frameworks like Backbone.js and Ember.js.
- 3Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, handling data flow and state management.
- 4Collaborate with designers to translate static images into functional web layouts using HTML5, CSS3, LESS, SASS, and Bootstrap.
- 5Deploy code changes in an agile environment using Git and GitHub, with continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Puppet.
- 6Optimize application performance by monitoring and debugging with D3 for data visualization.
- 7Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility, implementing WCAG guidelines.
- 8Participate in code reviews and pair programming to maintain high code quality.
- 9Quickly research and adopt new frontend tools and techniques to meet mission needs.
Requirements9
- 15+ years of experience in frontend development with modern frameworks like React or Angular.
- 2Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI with polygraph.
- 3Proficiency in JavaScript (strict mode), including modularization and MV* patterns.
- 4Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors like LESS and SASS.
- 5Strong knowledge of RESTful API consumption and integration.
- 6Familiarity with version control, specifically Git and GitHub.
- 7Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Lean) and SAFe processes.
- 8Desired: Kubernetes and Docker experience for containerized deployments.
- 9Desired: Experience with full-stack frameworks like Rails, Express, or Django for creating views and templates.
