Front Office Manager, Sheraton Stonebriar Dallas
Overview
Own the front office at the Sheraton Stonebriar in Dallas, a 168-room property with 6,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and a full-service restaurant. You'll lead a team of associates, drive guest service scores, and optimize room inventory. Oversee daily operations, including guest registration, checkout, and telephone services, while ensuring brand standards and HEI Loves culture. This role offers the chance to shape the guest experience in a newly renovated property near major corporate headquarters.
What You'll Do10
- 1Oversee guest registration, checkout, and telephone services, applying all brand standards.
- 2Prepare forecasts and reports, and assist in developing the rooms budget.
- 3Monitor PMS and front office systems to ensure optimal performance.
- 4Track guest satisfaction surveys and maximize the use of the guest response tracking system.
- 5Develop and implement controls for expense management, using labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs.
- 6Interview, hire, train, and develop staff; resolve problems and provide clear communication.
- 7Coordinate activities with other hotel departments to boost communication and guest satisfaction.
- 8Manage room inventory status daily to achieve optimal revenue and guest expectations.
- 9Resolve customer complaints and anticipate issues by monitoring operational feedback.
- 10Partner with the sales team to implement strategies that improve occupancy and revenues.
Requirements10
- 12+ years front desk experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- 2Proficiency with PMS systems and brand reward programs.
- 3Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- 4Computer literacy and financial management skills.
- 5Effective verbal and written communication with diverse audiences.
- 6Knowledge of local area attractions and transportation.
- 7Skill in defusing anger and resolving conflicts with patience and tact.
- 8Ability to remain calm and alert during emergencies or heavy hotel activity.
- 9Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws on equal employment, safety, and labor relations.
- 10Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing, security, and budget forecasting.
