What You'll Do9
- 1Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions using diagnostic reports and technical expertise
- 2Perform precise inspections before during and after equipment servicing using calipers and micrometers
- 3Repair overhaul and maintain industrial machinery including presses dies and transfer equipment
- 4Set up optimize machine tools considering material tolerances cutting tools coolants and speeds
- 5Operate forklifts and execute daily maintenance tasks like cleaning lubricating and restocking supplies
- 6Train new hires and document procedures to ensure consistent operational standards
- 7Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and chemical handling protocols for workplace safety
- 8Coordinate with engineering teams to align mechanical adjustments with production goals
- 9Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activities
Requirements9
- 15+ years experience in mechanical maintenance and repair
- 2Engineering degree preferred
- 3Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- 4Basic knowledge of US measurement systems and computer applications
- 5Physical ability to lift carry and push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- 6Experience with PPE and safety compliance requirements
- 7Good communication skills for teamwork and documentation purposes
- 8Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 9Willingness to travel within the Dallas Texas area
