What You'll Do9

  • 1Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, and create reservations using Marriott property management systems.
  • 2Anticipate guest needs by mastering local attractions and hotel outlet hours, offering tailored recommendations.
  • 3Recover service issues with the B.F. Saul guest recovery program, turning complaints into loyalty.
  • 4Upsell rooms and amenities to maximize revenue, monitoring room availability and booking policies.
  • 5Handle cash and financial transactions securely, following B.F. Saul procedures to protect guests and the hotel.
  • 6Maintain a clean, safe front desk area, complying with OSHA and hotel emergency protocols.
  • 7Attend daily briefings and monthly meetings, collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve guest issues.
  • 8Work AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays, ensuring seamless coverage during peak check-in hours.
  • 9Support night audit when needed, balancing daily revenue and preparing morning reports.

Requirements7

  • 1High school diploma or GED required.
  • 21+ years prior guest service experience, ideally in a hospitality setting.
  • 3Excellent verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • 4Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • 5Flexibility to work AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • 6Night Audit experience is a plus.
  • 7Attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
