Overview
Own FPGA design and implementation for defense systems targeting Electronic Warfare (EW), Infrared (IR), SATCOM, and RF platforms. What You'll Do6
- 1Design and implement FPGA-based digital logic for EW, IR, and SATCOM systems, delivering validated firmware within 90 days.
- 2Write and optimize VHDL code for high-speed, real-time signal processing and control paths.
- 3Own integration and bring-up of FPGA designs in lab environments, debugging with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- 4Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interface requirements and verify system-level behavior.
- 5Document design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports for compliance with defense standards.
- 6Ensure designs meet security requirements and program objectives within a classified environment.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of full lifecycle FPGA design experience, from architecture through verification.
- 2Expert-level proficiency in VHDL for complex logic implementation.
- 3Hands-on experience with Xilinx or Intel FPGA toolchains, including synthesis, place-and-route, and timing closure.
- 4Strong digital logic fundamentals and proven hardware debugging skills.
- 5Active Secret clearance and ability to work in a classified environment.
- 6Experience in Aerospace & Defense, SATCOM, Infrared, or RF-based technologies.
- 7Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (e.g., SerDes, PCIe), DSP blocks, or embedded processors.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
