Overview
Forward Deployed Engineer at Istari Digital based in Washington District of Columbia onsite payroll. You will embed within customer organizations solving complex engineering integration challenges. This is a builder role not a support role. You will write real code architect integrations and solve hard problems at the intersection of digital engineering workflows and mission critical operations.
What You'll Do12
- 1Embed with customer engineering teams to understand workflows data environments and technical constraints
- 2Architect and build software solutions that integrate Istari's platform into existing digital engineering ecosystems such as CAD CFD FEM and simulation pipelines
- 3Serve as primary technical interface for the customer proactively identifying where our software can drive more value
- 4Develop test and maintain integrations and workflow solutions following modern software engineering practices
- 5Write clean maintainable code that can be productized or reused across customer deployments
- 6Contribute to internal tooling and documentation that scales your knowledge across the team
- 7Feedback Loop to Product Translate field experience into actionable product insights participating in internal engineering reviews architecture discussions and roadmap planning
- 8Help develop proposals and technical approaches for new customer opportunities
- 9Strong software engineering fundamentals producing production quality code and defending architectural decisions
- 10Hands-on experience with digital engineering toolchains including CAD CFD FEM or related simulation and modeling environments
- 11Ability to work on-site with customers in US defense or aerospace contexts clearance eligibility required active clearance a strong plus
- 12U.S. citizenship required
