Food Truck Operators own the mobile kitchen experience, delivering high-quality meals to vibrant communities across Dallas. You prepare menu items, run POS transactions, and keep the truck spotless, all while engaging customers with a smile. Your team consists of a tight-knit crew of culinary and service pros. This role stands out because you lead daily operations on wheels, from lighting propane pilots to balancing sales at the end of each shift.
What You'll Do7
- 1Prepare and cook menu items from prep to plate in under 5 minutes during peak service.
- 2Operate Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, handle cash, and balance the drawer at shift end.
- 3Serve customers with a friendly attitude and upsell high-margin items like combo meals and desserts.
- 4Enforce food safety protocols, from temperature checks to proper sanitation, every shift.
- 5Manage the truck's cleanliness: wipe down counters, sweep floors, and sanitize equipment between stops.
- 6Handle cash transactions accurately, calculating change and issuing receipts without error.
- 7Set up and break down the truck at each location, securing equipment and checking propane levels for safety.
Requirements6
- 11+ years in food preparation or quick service fast food.
- 2Hands-on experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- 3Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude.
- 4Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
- 5Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- 6Basic kitchen experience and understanding of food industry operations are beneficial.
