You will own the dining experience for guests at St. James Live, a premier live music venue in Atlanta. Serving up to 100+ guests per show, you will take orders, deliver food, and resolve issues in a high-energy setting. You will work alongside a tight-knit crew of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, with support from management. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet guests and seat them at tables, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- 2Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, conveying special requests to the kitchen.
- 3Relay orders to kitchen and bar staff, emphasizing allergies and modifications to ensure accuracy.
- 4Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly, checking in on guests for satisfaction.
- 5Resolve guest concerns professionally, escalating to management when needed.
- 6Maintain a clean and organized section, restocking supplies and rolling silverware.
- 7Present bills and process payments, handling cash and card transactions accurately.
- 8Assist teammates during rushes, covering side work and bussing tables.
Requirements7
- 11+ years serving experience in a restaurant or live music venue.
- 2Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- 3Ability to handle multiple tables and adapt to a high-volume environment.
- 4Flexibility to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings, and Sunday afternoons.
- 5Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- 6Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift 25 pounds.
- 7Comfort navigating stairs and standing for 5+ hours per shift.
