- 1Deliver food and drinks to tables within 90 seconds of pickup, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- 2Pre-bus tables: clear dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to keep the dining room flowing.
- 3Connect with guests: ask about their day, refill drinks, and check satisfaction.
- 4Partner with servers and bartenders to time deliveries and resolve issues.
- 5Handle rush periods by prioritizing hot items and communicating with the kitchen.
- 6Maintain a clean and safe work area, including wiping down tables and sweeping.
- 7Support the team during weekend and holiday rushes, adapting to high-volume demand.
Requirements7
- 16+ months in a fast-casual or full-service restaurant as a food runner or busser.
- 2Ability to carry 3+ plates and 4+ drinks at once without spilling.
- 3Strong memory for table numbers and order details.
- 4Must be available weekends, weekdays, and holidays as scheduled.
- 5Positive attitude and a genuine smile, even during busy shifts.
- 6Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift.
- 7Prior experience with POS systems is a plus.
