Overview
Field Technician 1 HVAC Power Aggreko LLC Atlanta GA site-based position supporting shop and field operations. Responsibilities include maintenance diagnostics repairs testing commissioning of power generation and HVAC equipment. The role ensures equipment reliability and readiness for customer deployment while adhering to safety quality and operational standards.
What You'll Do6
- 1Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators diesel engines electrical distribution equipment HVAC equipment and oil free air compressors
- 2Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs
- 3Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites either independently or with a team
- 4Obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
- 5Maintain a robust technical training program covering diesel gas compressed air electrical controls oil free air compressors HVAC microgrid and storage
- 6Drive scaling solutions for diverse customer needs including mining operations and remote communities
Requirements7
- 1High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- 24-7 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment
- 3Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading schematics
- 4Availability to work assigned schedule travel to work locations and be on standby for work outside regular shifts
- 5Good finger dexterity hand-eye coordination and ability to grip tools safely
- 6Ability to stand walk and sit for prolonged periods move over uneven terrain and climb stairs and ladders
- 7Physical capacity to lift 60 lbs push pull 80 lbs carry 60 lbs climb stairs and ladders with load and stoop kneel and squat
