- 1Manage daily survey department operations, directing field crews and office staff to meet project deadlines.

- 4Prepare and review proposals, contracts, budgets, and project financials to keep projects profitable.
- 5Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local surveying regulations, implementing quality control processes.
- 6Supervise field crews, verifying accurate daily documentation and enforcing jobsite safety protocols.
- 7Mentor and train survey staff, fostering skill growth and supporting adoption of new equipment and software in the first 180 days.
Requirements5
- 110+ years of land surveying experience, with a strong record of managing teams and department operations.
- 2Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 3California PLS license preferred, or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire.
- 4Proficiency in Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel for survey drafting and documentation.
- 5Deep understanding of survey procedures, control networks, staking methods, and jobsite safety standards.
