Field Service Technician Job at NURVYX in San Francisco
Overview
Install, inspect, and service NURVYX commercial charging equipment at customer sites across the Bay Area as an independent contractor. NURVYX is building a growing charging network, and you will own the on-site quality of that network. Work independently, manage your schedule, and get paid per completed assignment with rates up to $225 per task.
What You'll Do8
- 1Complete NURVYX equipment installations at commercial locations, verifying site readiness before starting.
- 2Assemble, position, and connect NURVYX chargers following approved procedures, then test post-installation operation.
- 3Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service tasks, documenting each step with photos and reports.
- 4Diagnose and fix basic equipment, connectivity, power, and cable issues on-site.
- 5Coordinate with NURVYX Operations on assignment status, site conditions, and additional service needs.
- 6Maintain a clean, safe work area and protect customer property during and after service.
- 7Provide customers with basic equipment-use guidance when needed.
- 8Travel locally to assigned locations using reliable transportation, carrying required tools and a smartphone.
Requirements9
- 11+ year of field service, equipment installation, or technical service experience required.
- 2CDL license required.
- 3Strong mechanical and technical aptitude using hand tools for assembly and installation.
- 4Ability to follow written procedures and checklists accurately.
- 5Comfortable troubleshooting basic electrical and connectivity issues.
- 6Smartphone proficiency for assignments, communication, photos, and documentation.
- 7Reliable transportation and willingness to travel 50% locally.
- 8Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- 9Ability to lift and handle equipment safely during installations.
