What You'll Do8
- 1Learn to work as a tree doctor that makes house calls
- 2Educate residential and commercial customers on the needs of their trees
- 3Provide estimates based on customer needs
- 4Develop and update annual plant health care programs
- 5Create and build relationships with new and existing clients
- 6Set up and supervise crew members assigned to customer jobs
- 7Learn to be part of the office and field management team
- 8Assist District Manager in directing the whole team
Requirements7
- 1Love of the outdoors
- 2ISA Certified Arborist after hire
- 3Valid driver’s license
- 4Regional plant and horticulture knowledge
- 5Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized
- 6Complete extension courses on Tree Biology, Tree Pruning and Removal, and Plant Health Care
- 7Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates if required by state law
