Executive Director, Business Banking Pricing & Lending Finance
Overview
You will lead pricing strategy for Business Banking lending at JPMorgan Chase, owning the economics that shape small business credit decisions. Your team manages pricing governance, forecasting, and management reporting across retail and wholesale portfolios, impacting billions in loan volume. You will partner with Product, Risk, and Credit Decisioning leaders to translate complex performance data into decision-ready insights. What You'll Do9
- 1Own pricing economics: govern capital and expense assumptions, deliver decision-ready analysis for business cases
- 2Partner with Product, Credit Decisioning, and Risk to lead finance support for lending pricing from concept to monitoring
- 3Evaluate relationship-based pricing and discounts via economic assessments: profitability, shareholder value added, and return on equity
- 4Lead pricing governance forums, coordinating input from legal, compliance, and fair lending partners
- 5Manage refresh cycles for pricing parameters: rate grids, floors, ceilings, and segmentation
- 6Develop pricing models and tooling with finance modeling partners, ensuring strong controls
- 7Own issue remediation: drive action plans when control gaps or model issues surface
- 8Drive ad hoc deep dives on pricing tests, assessing trade-offs across rate, volume, risk, and profitability
- 9Lead and develop a team of analysts supporting reporting and day-to-day partnership
Requirements10
- 110+ years in finance, analytics, pricing, or business management
- 2Direct people management experience
- 3Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, accounting, or related field
- 4Strong financial acumen with data-driven problem solving
- 5Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results
- 6Stakeholder management with influence at multiple levels
- 7Experience building business cases that connect analysis to decisions
