Event Coordinator Boston
Overview
We seek an energetic Event Coordinator to join Starland Sportsplex & Fun Park in Boston. The role involves executing parties and bookings based on event orders while supporting guest communications. This position suits candidates with events marketing sales or hospitality backgrounds seeking growth opportunities.
What You'll Do9
- 1Respond to incoming event inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- 2Oversee onsite event setup guest check in and team coordination
- 3Interact with party hosts guests and other Starland customers
- 4Troubleshoot issues in real time ensuring smooth guest experience
- 5Act as lead event contact when the Director is unavailable
- 6Assist Director and Events Manager with daily operations administrative tasks and execution
- 7Support seasonal planning internal initiatives and event programming
- 8Participate in department meetings and collaborate across teams
- 9Represent Starland at external events expos and community activities
Requirements9
- 1High School diploma or equivalent with college coursework preferred
- 25+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 3Ability to convey information clearly
- 4Proficiency using Google Cloud based services
- 5Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- 6Strong listening skills to understand and resolve coworker and guest concerns
- 7Experience working with financial information and basic arithmetic
- 8Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
- 9Interest in community engagement through charity lead sourcing and networking
Salary Insight
$42 - $52k per year
