Overview
Own quality assurance strategy for a large-scale EHR SaaS implementation with end-to-end testing, data migration validation, and ETL testing in a healthcare environment. Lead planning, governance, and execution to ensure data integrity and functional reliability across the stack. Work with cross-functional teams in Austin, onsite, and participate in in-person interviews.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead QA strategy and governance for ETL pipelines and EHR SaaS project
- 2Own data migration validation, ETL testing, and functional/integration/regression testing outcomes
- 3Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to define quality metrics and acceptance criteria
- 4Build and mentor QA practices, test plans, and automation strategies
- 5Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and risk mitigation across large-scale healthcare data flows
- 6Drive high-quality releases through manual and automated testing in an EHR environment
- 7Defect triage, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of QA processes
- 8Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and privacy requirements
- 9Prepare test reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders
- 10Participate in on-site interviews and engage with customer teams to validate requirements
Requirements10
- 15+ years in QA leadership for data-intensive applications
- 2Extensive experience in ETL testing, data migrations, and healthcare domain
- 3Strong background in functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
- 4Proven ability to work onsite in Austin, TX and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- 5Experience with healthcare data privacy and security standards
- 6Strong communication skills and ability to mentor QA engineers
- 7Experience with test planning, execution, and governance for large-scale SaaS
- 8Familiarity with EHR systems and data models
- 9Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 10Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with hands-on problem solving
