Overview
You will own cost estimation for demolition projects at a small contractor in Marietta, GA, compiling costs from contract documents and submitting pricing to customers. You work with project managers and customers to ensure accurate bids. Starting salary is $72k-$84k with 15 days of vacation and individual health insurance. Bonuses depend on awarded project count.
What You'll Do7
- 1Compile costs from contract documents for demolition projects and submit pricing to customers.

- 3Prepare detailed estimates including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor quotes.
- 4Coordinate with project managers to refine cost assumptions and validate bid accuracy.
- 5Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- 6Track project performance against estimates to improve future bidding accuracy.
- 7Communicate with customers on pricing proposals and follow up on bid outcomes.
Requirements6
- 13-5 years of estimating experience in construction.
- 2Strong computer skills with spreadsheets and estimating software.
- 3Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 4Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- 5High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in construction management preferred.
- 6Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
