What You'll Do12

  • 1Plans and organizes approved programs aligned with official directives and contract provisions
  • 2Prepares program proposals budgets and directives
  • 3Establishes relationships with donors foundations and public agencies
  • 4Reviews fiscal performance and ensures balanced program budgets
  • 5Provides training to program managers
  • 6Negotiates contracts and manages program operations
  • 7Supervises staff implementing programs and maintaining records
  • 8Advises on recruitment and retention of program personnel
  • 9Evaluates operational staff performance
  • 10Consults with Director of Intra-Agency Programs on program status and policy
  • 11Develops procedures for compliance and performance standards

Requirements10

  • 1Legal or related educational background preferably JD and bar membership or MS in public/business administration
  • 2Minimum seven years immigration legal services with five years management experience
  • 3Demonstrated ability to learn Catholic Charities policies and procedures
  • 4Interest in serving low-income immigrant and refugee communities
  • 5Experience working with diverse economic cultural and ethnic backgrounds
  • 6Proven track record leading large legal services teams
  • 7Integrity passion and strong communication skills
  • 8Knowledge of administrative program management principles
  • 9Excellent organizational and management abilities including public speaking
  • 10Ability to navigate complex environments and respond to funding opportunities
