Overview
Own the design and delivery of specialized instruction for students with diverse learning needs at Bridgeprep Academy in Hollywood Hills, FL. The role includes a $5,000 retention bonus and $2,500 endorsement supplement, plus Broward County referendum pay. What You'll Do7
- 1Develop and write compliant IEPs with measurable annual goals, accommodations, and progress reports.
- 2Deliver specially designed instruction in individual, small-group, and push-in/pull-out settings aligned with state standards.
- 3Track and analyze student academic and behavioral data to evaluate progress toward IEP goals and adjust strategies.
- 4Partner with general education teachers, therapists, and administration to implement accommodations in inclusive settings.
- 5Facilitate annual IEP meetings, re-evaluations, and maintain ongoing communication with parents and guardians.
- 6Implement positive behavior intervention strategies to support student engagement and self-regulation.
- 7Use IEP drafting software to manage documentation and ensure compliance with Florida ESE guidelines.
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; Master's in Special Education preferred.
- 2Valid Florida Educator Certificate or Temporary Certificate in ESE K-12.
- 3ESE Endorsement preferred, eligible for stipend.
- 4Completion of Florida Level 2 background screening.
- 5Knowledge of Florida ESE compliance guidelines and IEP drafting software.
- 6Experience with positive behavior intervention strategies.
- 71+ years of teaching experience preferred.
