What You'll Do7

  • 1Prepare and review technical reports including Remedial Action Work Plans (RAWP), Site Management Plans (SMP), and Investigation Work Plans for NYCOER and NYSDEC BCP projects.
  • 2Coordinate with regulatory agencies such as NYSDEC and NYC OER to ensure project approvals and compliance.
  • 3Manage project financials: budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost tracking to keep projects on budget.
  • 4Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, updating them on progress and addressing concerns.
  • 5Oversee subcontractors and field staff, directing soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and community air monitoring (CAMP) activities.
  • 6Implement and enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project phases.
  • 7Support proposal writing, scope development, and project planning for new business opportunities.

Requirements6

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • 24+ years of field experience in construction oversight, CAMP, soil sampling, and groundwater sampling.
  • 3Hands-on experience supporting Brownfield Cleanup Program projects and New York State cleanup initiatives.
  • 4Proven ability to write technical reports, including remedial action plans, closure plans, Phase I and Phase II site assessments.
  • 5Experience with report writing, financial budgeting, and client management in an environmental consulting context.
  • 6Ability to split time between office and field settings, with a standard work schedule of 9-5.
