Environmental Field Technician
Overview
Field Technician responsible for answering emergency calls and performing cleanup tasks. Ensure health and safety compliance while working in hazardous environments. Provide on-call emergency response and travel as needed.
What You'll Do9
- 1Answer scheduled and emergency response calls promptly
- 2Perform cleanup of spills hazmat decon and other delegated tasks
- 3Conduct confined space entry and hazardous waste remediation
- 4Execute daily work including drum handling and high pressure washing
- 5Maintain safety standards under adverse conditions
- 6Obtain TWIC clearance if required within first 45 days
- 7Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- 8Drive vehicles and handle transportation logistics
- 9Collaborate with teams to resolve field challenges
Requirements10
- 1Pass pre-employment physical drug screen and background screening
- 2Obtain OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training certification
- 3Secure Transportation Worker clearance within 45 days
- 4Read write and understand English language proficiency
- 5Possess driver’s license and meet physical requirements
- 6Minimum 5+ years experience with hazardous waste remediation
- 7Demonstrate ability to lift over 50lbs regularly
- 8Commit to punctuality and accountability
- 9Hold preferred qualifications including background checks
- 10Understand complex remediation tasks and safety protocols
